ABOUT ME

I've always been curious about people and stories.

After a degree in literature, my curiosity led me into a career in fashion. Travelling and working around the world, it gave me the opportunity to work creatively, telling stories through imagery.

Yoga became a welcome pause in my busy schedule.

After a move back North, close to my roots, my son arrived in 2008, and I followed my curiosity with yoga, learning more about the practice, its roots, and eventually training to teach.

I became interested in the behaviours and beliefs people brought into the yoga studio, the origins of the stresses and worries they were often seeking respite from on the mat.

Integration Psychotherapy was a natural next step in my understanding of myself and the world around me.

We now live in a suburb of Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It feels like the perfect place as I begin a new chapter supporting others in their sacred path to understanding their own story, greater authenticity, and coming home to themselves.

"Amy has always made me feel safe and heard. Her ability to catch the small things that have then led to big understandings has been a true gift."

"Amy was immediately a reassuring presence, nothing was ever expected, no judgements were ever made, and each vulnerability that was uncovered was met with genuine care and compassion, which allowed me to bring my guard down and trust the process.

I’ve been able to explore unexpressed grief, tune into previously ignored emotions,

and better deal with big life changes in ways that have felt intuitive

and at the same time deeply personal."
